OK, we had a great time bowling the Mystery Doubles (Sorry, Joanie
- you bowled awesome) but, where were the rest of you??? Anyway, we
had a good time.
November is our annual Open Meeting and Election of Officers. We
really need you to come to the meeting. This is your time to give us
input on the things you like or dislike. We are always open to new
ideas but we need you to help us out. Remember, nothing changes
unless we care enough to get involved. That said, let’s see you at
the meeting!

 Get Well wishes go out to our Secretary - Treasurer, Phyllis Dodge. She has been in the hospital with pneumonia - but is now home resting more comfortably and following her Doctor’s orders.

Hope you all had fun at the Mystery Doubles. Sorry to say that we only had one team at the Inter-Association Team Trio and next year we host the event. We really need to have more of us make an attempt to bowl in the Invitationals. I am including the Renewal Forms for 2009 since many of you like to take care of that at the Turkey Shoot. Please return these to me NOT to Rosie. It makes our bookkeeping so much easier. We really need you to come out to the Open Meeting and Elections. Hope to see you there and at the Turkey Shoot.

Thank you to Gracie for taking over the Mystery Doubles
Tournament. I hear that she did a great job and you all had fun.
This month will be our Turkey Shoot - the object is to bowl pins
OVER your average. Rules and Tournament Entry form is enclosed.
Please take the time to look it over so you know the rules. We will
also be giving out raffle tickets for “turkeys” - three strikes in a
row, three spares in a row, three splits in a row or three opens in
a row. At the completion of bowling we will draw from these tickets
for some nice gift card prizes. Hope to see you all there. Take care

Team Event at Yorba Linda Bowl
Doubles and Singles at Forest Lanes
We would like to enter several teams and be part of the opening ceremonies at Yorba Linda Bowl on Saturday, May 30th at 12:30 pm. If you are interested in being part of our group please see Rosie or give her a call at (951) 231-4709. If you have already signed up, please contact Rosie about when you want to bowl the singles and doubles portion of the tournament and arrange to pay your entry fee. Total cost for Singles - Doubles - Team Event - and All Events is $100. Please make checks payable to Rosie McKeithen. If you only have yourself or part of a team don’t let that hold you back. We have several individual bowlers from my league that would like to participate. We can match you up! Don’t miss the fun!
