This is the only singles tournament of the year open to non-members.
We want them to come check us out and hopefully join.
Get out there and RECRUIT everyone you know...

Email JoinTournament@OC500Club.com by January 9 to notify the Club that you are joining.
Print out the Friendship Singles form, fill out, and submit to Gracie.

Your Board of Directors is looking forward to an exciting and busy year. With State Tournament here in our own backyard we will be expected to work at the Team Event site (Yorba Linda Bowl) on behalf of the State 500 Club each weekend of the tournament. If you are available to help out any Saturday or Sunday from May 30 - August 2nd please sign-up at the Check-in Table at one of our tournaments or contact any Board Member. We are really going to need LOTS of help. Plus in October our Club will be hosting the Inter-Association Team Trio Tournament which is a big project in and of itself. Please join with us to make 2009 a year that we all work together to promote our Club and our sport!

I want to thank all those who had confidence in me to elect me as your new President for the next two years. I look forward to serving you, the 500 Club members.

Next year will be a tough year for me being your president and being on the OCUSBC board. As you may know the California State Tournament will be held here in Orange County in 2009, at Yorba Linda Bowl (team) and Forest Lanes (singles & doubles). I will miss the 500 Club tournaments in June and July because I will be working at the State Tournament. You have a great board and they will keep the tournaments running smoothly.

What a great time we had at the Christmas Tournament. We even got to sit on Santa’s lap and have our picture taken! We were pleased to welcome bowlers from Inter-City 500 Club, San Fernando Valley 500 Club, San Gabriel Valley 500 Club and Long Beach 500 Club. Thank you to everyone who brought food for the Hospitality Tables or helped in anyway to make this event a success. Thank you to Cindy Bender and her committee for the excellent job with the Christmas Baskets. Thank you to Gracie Hastings and her committee for the wonderful job with the Christmas Party and a special thanks to Ann Kvidt for all her hard work putting together the Christmas Ornaments you received from Santa when you checked in.

Please join me in a warm welcome to our newest member: Sheila Eppens. Hope to see you all at our next Tournament. Happy New Year!
