CALIFORNIA STATE WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT
500 Club Teams
We had eight (8) teams come together to bowl this year’s event and so far so good. One of the teams (none are 500 Club members, but they did bowl with us) is in First Place in the Classic Division, and another team composed of two of our members and two ladies from Rosie’s Tuesday nite league is currently in 4th Place in the A Division. Everyone on Gracie’s team (Romy, Gracie, Sandy and Carol) bowled a 200 + at the Singles and Doubles house. Melody Tegtmeyer bowled a really nice game in Singles and Doubles; and we managed to recruit four (4) new members to our Club because they had so much fun bowling with us! And we all got cool Yorba Linda Bowl shirts courtesy of Jim and Betty Hornung
at Yorba Linda Bowl.
Also, I saw in the standings that Sharon Olney, one of our
members who bowled with a different group, is on the Leader Board in
the Queen’s Event. Way to go Sharon!
Next year for the first time the tournament will be held north of Sacramento. I have had several people ask if we would be going. If you have a team or would like to be part of a team let Rosie know and we’ll see if we can get a group together.

INTER-ASSOCIATION TEAM TRIO TOURNAMENT

It’s not too soon to start thinking about getting your teams together.
You will need a team of any three (3) 500 Club Members.
