It's Over!! The California Women's State Bowling Tournament ended
Sunday morning, at least for me. I hear there were two squads down
at Forest Lanes. I had a great bunch of kids keeping score for me as
I served as Head Scorekeeper at Yorba Linda Bowl for the Team Event
portion of the tournament. They didn't need much watching by the end
of the tournament.
The California State 500 Club was short about 8 bowlers of having
300 total bowlers participating in their tournament.
Anyway, now I can get back into our 500 Club stuff. I'll see all
of you on the Board at our meeting at Valley View (10:00am) and
can't wait to bowl a 500 Club tournament again. See you all at the
Birthday Celebration!

together. You will need a team of any three (3) 500 Club Members.

500 CLUB STATE TOURNAMENT
I would like to thank everyone who stepped in when asked and
worked the table at Yorba Linda Bowl these past two and a half
months. A special thanks to Sue Fraker and Romy Fallabeck for
working as much as they did! I think they were there more than
anybody. With me having to bounce between the Orange Co. USBC part
and the State table, it would never have worked without their help.
And thanks to Rosie for making sure all the money and paperwork got
to the State 500 Club Secretary each week. I understand that we may
need to take a special collection for Zoe since she spent her entire
retirement the day she worked! The girl needs a shopping
intervention!!!
