I hope to see a lot more of you out bowling our Christmas No-Tap
Doubles Tournament at Yorba Linda Bowl. This tournament is always a
fun one - and Santa Claus will even be there! There will also be the
annual Christmas Basket raffle, Lottery, Participation Gifts and
more. Please bring a finger food to share. We will have hospitality
tables on the concourse and you can eat all during bowling.

The forms are enclosed for your renewal for 2010. Please fill out
and send in or bring to the next tournament. We are not raising our
membership fees—they will remain at $10/yr for both 500 Club Members
and Boosters. Please invite your friends to come join us.
It’s time to start sending in those new high scores for our
yearly awards. Scores must be bowled in any USBC Certified League or
Tournament between August 1, 2009 and July 31, 2010. Send in your

This is just a friendly reminder of how our tournaments are
SUPPOSED to work each month. WE DO NOT OPERATE ON A WALK-IN SYSTEM.
I don’t require that you mail in your entries with your money (often
times you don’t receive the newsletter in time to make that doable),
but I do request that you at least phone or email me to let me know
you are coming. That way I can have your paperwork ready and the
lane assignments complete before I get to the bowling center. I
arrange in advance with the bowling center for how many lanes we
will need and have to work within those parameters. How difficult
can it be for you to pick up your phone and call me? And Board
Members—you are some of the worst offenders. If I don’t answer,
simply leave me a voice mail to let me know you will be bowling.

We’re having a bowling party!
Bring a gift if you want to participate in the gift exchange ($10
or less). I’m making a list of those who can bring yummy goodies
cause… SANTA CLAUS IS COMING IN HIS SUV for cookies and milk. If you

CHRISTMAS BASKET TICKETS
Please make sure to get your sold tickets (ticket stubs with name
and phone #) and money turned in to me as soon as possible. You can
mail them to me at 4564 Valley View, Yorba Linda, CA, 92886) or
bring to the tournament on the 12th if you don’t have time to mail.
But please give them to me personally because we keep track of our
sales and I need to record them. If you need more tickets please

you.
